Travel Anxiety Tips

Yesterday I jumped on a plane to Melbourne, yay! I'm writing this from my favourite city in the country, and I'm feeling great. 24 hours ago? Not so much... I had a fair bit of travel anxiety, but far less than in the past, so I'm going to share the things I used to make me feel more comfortable up in the air.

Wild Wood by Colin Meloy

First of all, can I just say how happy I am with this photo? Not to spoil the story, but it is focused on light vs darkness, so some symbolic photography is going down.

Wild Wood is the first book in the Wild Wood Chronicles written by Colin Meloy, the lead singer of The Decemberists, a band I really like. I borrowed it from my best-friend Madie's older sister Caitie's friend Felix, so it took a fair amount of effort to get my hands on this one.
